Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Let me tell y'all about this burrito. SO GOOD I would like to thank the man who told me to get it . And I would like to Bless the cook who put it together so perfectly. The pastrami to chilli and cheese ratios blended flawlessly. I did not share and I am normally a sharer unless its that good. This burrito is one of the reason Steve's is still standing in the same place."
"Really good burgers and fries decent size burger and amount of fries to share if you have a hard time finishing them, also have family deals for 4 & 5 at a good price compared to where I’ve seen at other restaurants."
"I have driven by this place many times thinking about stopping today. I decided to stop. The menu has quite large selection and the staff is extremely friendly. A warning however they give you a lot of food so when you order to take that into consideration because I did not. I ordered the pastrami double hamburger with cheese and oh my God was it filling. I also made it a combo with onion rings and my wife got the bacon avocado burger. Everything was delicious. I wish I would’ve ordered less after I saw the size of the burner and it takes a little bit for them to cook it because they cook to order. Well worth the stop."
"This place was da bomb! It was bumpin' at lunch time like all good burger stands are supposed to be. Prices are very affordable. There is not a better pastrami melt in Mo Val, Perris or any where close."
"I think this establishment has been here forever. Outside seating only clean well kept they have Burgers or some Mexican selections. I saw an old favorite “deep fried burrito with chili” or if you inclined for dinner they have chicken, fish or The ever popular Ribeye steak it’s south of the 60 freeway small parking lot so if your pulling a trailer I suggest parking across the street."
"Total hole in the wall but so good. The food was so worth it. I would recommend dipping the pastrami sandwich with a side of fries. Delicious!"
"Hamburger restaurant?? More like burrito heaven! I can’t believe I’ve missed this jewel every time I’ve been in town. Here’s what happened: I was getting an oil change down the street and didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast. A quick google search suggested Steve’s but honestly, am I THAT HUNGRY to try?? Turns out, the answer is yes. I order the egg burrito (cause at this point what do I have to lose) and by golly! It was worth the wait. Filled with egg, cheese, potatoes & salsa, it’s a vegetarians dream. The woman who works in the AM is beyond informative and helpful! My meat eater BFF ordered the same burrito but added chicken and raved about it. I actually ended up putting in a phone order later that evening for dinner. The veggie burrito, veggie burger and kids grilled cheese meal (All got great feedback). I’m writing this as I eat yet another breakfast egg burrito. Portions are huge and it gives you that hole in the wall diner feel. Outside seating only. If you can, go in the morning cause the gal who works afternoons has an attitude and makes you not wanna spend your money there."
"The burgers are good but once I tried the Pastrami Tacos I was in love! The texture is of the pastrami is fantastic it’s not all wet and sloppy- it’s more like bacon without all the fat, top it off with fresh onions, cilantro and guacamole and you’re a winner!"
